Libel case against Moneyweb

Published: 31-MAR-06

The Citizen Newspaper carried a Moneyweb article on Monday, March 272006 that was entirely defamatory against Chief Executive Everest Ekong and the Business in Africa Group.

Our lawyers have since launched a libel action against them. Everest Ekong was never arrested in Ghana and has not been involved in any criminal activity there. Our legal advisers in Accra who handled the matter against our local company there have issued this statement.

Any interested party is welcome to read the ruling related to this matter too.
